I mainly just write about my day, or my life, depending on what's going on and how long it's been. I love having people to offer advice on what's going on, or just to talk to, so I'm always looking to make new friends on LJ. I feel like friendships made online can be just as valuable as face-to-face friends in real life, if not more so. I'm a 21 year old college student majoring in Political Science. I'd like to think I can make a difference in the world, but who knows what I'll actually end up doing with it. What I write about: What I think, how I feel. Sometimes I post things I've written: prose, lyrics, poems. Maybe I'll post pictures of something cool, or of myself, or of something I made/drew/created. A lot of times I find myself ranting on here when things go wrong, so I'm sorry ahead of time if a quick glance at my journal makes me seem very angsty. I'm not all of the time, and I hope you'll want to get to know me and figure that out. :-D I do have my nerdy side, I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, and I watch weird cartoons like Invader Zim and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I can be a bit of a tomboy. I swear a little more than I should. But hey, who doesn't have their quirks? Things I like: American Football (Steelers!), music (all kinds, from top 40 to metal/hard rock), reading (Stephen King and Bernard Cornwell are my two favorite authors), writing (poems, short stories, lyrics), watching too much television (everything from anime to sports, from BBC America to Cartoon Network). I'm in my college's marching band as a colorguard member (we spin the flags!), I'm trying to keep up with politics and world events better, and I love learning new things.
